Kishtwar: An Army jawan was injured on Wednesday during an ongoing encounter with terrorists in the Kalaban forest area of Naidgam, under the Chatroo Sub-Division of Kishtwar district.
According to official sources, the injured jawan was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Earlier, the White Knight Corps posted on X, as cited by KNC, stating, “Contact with Terrorists | Op Chatroo | In an intelligence-based operation conducted jointly with @jk_police early this morning, alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps established contact with terrorists in the general area of Chatroo. Exchange of fire is underway. The operation is in progress.”
