New Delhi [India]: Popular travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood has passed away, his family confirmed in a statement on Thursday.
Details about the cause of his untimely death remain undisclosed.
The announcement was made through Anunay’s official social media account, where his family requested privacy during this difficult time.
“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We also request that no crowds gather near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement read.
The news has left his followers and fellow creators heartbroken.
One user wrote, “Rest in peace, Bhai. It’s hard to believe since I found out last night… you will be missed deeply.” Another commented, “You were such a bright light. Rest in peace, sweet Anunay — your impact and love for life will always be remembered.”

Anunay Sood was among India’s most prominent travel influencers, known for his stunning photography and storytelling. He was featured by National Geographic India, Condé Nast Traveller India, and Lonely Planet India, and had amassed over 1.4 million followers on Instagram along with a strong YouTube community.
