Araria: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday accused the RJD-Congress alliance in Bihar of having a “soft corner” for infiltrators while showing “dislike” for Lord Ram and ‘Chhathi Maiya’ due to vote bank politics.

Addressing a rally in Araria district, Modi alleged that opposition leaders’ reluctance to visit Ayodhya for the ‘darshan’ of shrines dedicated to Nishad Raj, Mata Shabri, and Maharshi Valmiki reflected their “hatred” for Dalits and backward communities.

“Bihar witnessed zero development during 15 years of ‘jungle raj’. There were no highways, bridges, or higher education centres. Under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the NDA worked tirelessly to lift the state from that period,” Modi said.

“Today, Bihar has several expressways, river bridges, and four central universities. Only the NDA can ensure this journey of progress continues without interruption,” he added.

The prime minister said infiltration remained the biggest challenge to development and asserted the NDA’s commitment to eliminating it. “The NDA is determined to drive out every infiltrator from the country, but Congress and RJD protect them, take out yatras in their support, and spread misleading narratives,” he said, in an apparent reference to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’.

“Whenever the RJD-Congress come to power, they attempt to give infiltrators back-door entry for their vote bank, which harms the nation and its citizens,” he claimed.

Modi also accused the opposition of disrespecting cultural traditions. “The naamdaar of Congress mocked devotion to Chhathi Maiya as drama. They never visit Ayodhya to bow before Lord Ram,” he said.

“I understand their aversion to Lord Ram, but they could at least visit the shrines of Nishad Raj, Shabri Mata, and Maharshi Valmiki. Their refusal shows their disdain for Dalits and backward classes,” he alleged.

Modi further claimed that internal rifts had surfaced within the Congress-RJD alliance. “After the elections, these INDI Alliance partners will be seen fighting among themselves. The conflict has reached such a level that even their deputy CM candidate is speaking out against ‘jungle raj’,” he remarked.
