Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday visited the holy Vaishno Devi shrine in Reasi district and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the Union Territory, officials said.
Situated at an altitude of 5,200 feet, the revered cave shrine draws millions of devotees annually.
Officials said Sinha paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum and prayed for the overall welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.
