Srinagar: Two unidentified terrorists were killed after the Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.
According to the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, the operation was launched on Friday following specific intelligence inputs about an infiltration bid in the Keran sector of Kupwara.
“Alert troops noticed suspicious movement and challenged the infiltrators, who opened indiscriminate fire,” the Army said in a post on X.
“Two terrorists have been neutralised by the security forces. The search operation in the area is still underway,” it added.
