Mumbai: Veteran actor Dharmendra has reportedly been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
In a statement released by his family, it was confirmed that “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s privacy.”
Fondly known as the ‘He-Man of Bollywood’, Dharmendra’s illustrious career spans over six decades, during which he has appeared in more than 300 films. He is celebrated for his iconic roles in classics like Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Seeta Aur Geeta, Raja Jani, Jugnu, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dost, Sholay, Pratiggya, Charas, and Dharam Veer, among many others.
In 2023, Dharmendra appeared in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film revolves around two contrasting personalities who decide to live with each other’s families before marriage, exploring themes of love, culture, and self-discovery.
The legendary actor also impressed audiences with his performance in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and he is next set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Ikkis’.
