Mumbai: A prayer meet for late actress Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, was held in Mumbai on Monday evening.
Several visuals from the venue showed Sanjay Khan arriving with his children — Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan — to pay their respects.
Sussanne’s former husband and actor Hrithik Roshan also attended the prayer meet, along with veteran actor Jeetendra and Zayed’s cousin Fardeen Khan.
Among other attendees were Rani Mukerji, Shweta Bachchan, Chunky Panday, Ridhi Dogra, and actress Zareen Khan.
Zarine Khan passed away on November 7 at the age of 81.
A day after her demise, daughter Sussanne shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, describing her mother as her “bestest friend, God, and life.”
She wrote, “You are always going to be our guiding light… You taught us all to live with grace and love. We love you beyond life, until we meet again.”
Zarine and Sanjay Khan had celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in April this year. She is fondly remembered for her grace, warmth, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends.
