Srinagar: National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday strongly condemned the Red Fort blast in Delhi, describing it as a cowardly and barbaric act aimed at spreading fear among innocent people.
“Words fall short in condemning such a heinous act of terror. These explosions are not only an attack on innocent lives but also on the very essence of humanity and peace,” Abdullah, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, said in a statement.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives, Abdullah urged the authorities to swiftly identify and punish those responsible.
“My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones and to those recovering from injuries in hospitals. In this moment of profound grief, the entire nation stands united in solidarity and compassion,” he added.
