Srinagar: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Tuesday reviewed the anti-infiltration grid and assessed the operational preparedness of troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir.
“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, visited North Kashmir to review the anti-infiltration grid and evaluate the operational readiness of formations along the Line of Control,” the Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X.
During his visit to the forward areas, Lt Gen Sharma was briefed on advanced surveillance systems and next-generation technologies being deployed to strengthen border security.
Commending the troops for their professionalism, operational excellence, and high level of combat readiness, the commander reaffirmed the Army’s firm commitment to safeguarding the nation’s frontiers.
