NEW DELHI: Security agencies are searching for a third vehicle linked to the Red Fort blast, police sources said on Thursday.
The explosion occurred on Monday evening when a white Hyundai i20 blew up near Red Fort, killing 12 people and injuring 30. Investigators have since traced a second vehicle — a red Ford EcoSport — to Faridabad.
However, a suspected third car, believed to be a Maruti Brezza, is still missing.
“The third vehicle may have been used by the accused for reconnaissance or to escape. Multiple teams are tracking it,” a source said.
Search operations are underway across Delhi-NCR and neighbouring states to locate the Brezza, the source added.
