Sopore: A man working as a driver was found dead inside his vehicle at Sopore Mandi in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
Officials said the vehicle was noticed parked under suspicious circumstances, prompting police to reach the spot and cordon off the area.
Inside the vehicle, officers recovered the body of the driver, identified as Noor Muhammad, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
A senior police officer told KNC that it “appears to be a case of suffocation,” though he stressed that all possibilities are being investigated.
Police have launched a thorough probe to determine the exact cause of death.
