Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Friday evening held a hybrid security review across the Union Territory.

The exercise comes in the aftermath of the November 10 high-intensity explosion near the Red Fort Metro station in Delhi, where a slow-moving car driven by a Kashmiri doctor exploded, claiming at least 13 lives.

“DGP Nalin Prabhat conducted a hybrid security review with BSF, CRPF and other agencies. All formations briefed him on ongoing kinetic and non-kinetic operations,” a police spokesperson said.

Following the Delhi blast, security has been heightened across the Union Territory, with increased deployment, intensified checking and frisking, and stepped-up public outreach to encourage vigilance.

Regular search operations are also underway in several rural and mountainous areas as part of the enhanced security measures.
