Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri Jitin Prasada, today reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening global trade partnerships and advancing the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. Addressing the Indo-US Business Summit in Lucknow, he highlighted India’s strong economic fundamentals, steady policy reforms, and expanding international collaborations that have enhanced the country’s global profile.
Prasada emphasized the importance of self-reliance under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative and underscored the role of Uttar Pradesh as one of India’s most dynamic growth engines. He noted that rapid advancements in infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, and IT are positioning the state as a premier destination for global investors.
Earlier this week, Prasada jointly inaugurated the Department of Defence Production Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair in New Delhi, showcasing India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem and technological innovation.
The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth across sectors, ensuring India’s continued rise as a global economic power.
