ISRO has announced plans to significantly scale up its operations by tripling its annual spacecraft production capacity, the Chairman said on Friday. As part of its expanded vision for India’s space sector, the agency is also preparing for the launch of Chandrayaan-4 in 2028.
The upcoming lunar mission is expected to build on the achievements of previous Chandrayaan missions and further strengthen India’s position in global space exploration. The Chairman emphasized that the increased production capability will enable ISRO to take on more complex missions and meet the growing demand for space-based services.
