Senior political leader Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi strongly responded to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s recent remark describing his decision as “political suicide.”
In his statement, Ruhullah said such comments reflect “small thinking” and fail to recognise the larger purpose behind his political choices.
He emphasised that his actions are guided by principles and the expectations of the people he represents, not by concerns over personal political gain.
Ruhullah added that leadership demands courage, conviction and a willingness to stand firm, even when criticised. He urged political figures to rise above narrow views and focus on addressing the real issues facing the public.
