Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur chaired an operations-cum-crime review meeting today to assess the district’s security preparedness and ongoing law-and-order measures.
The meeting reviewed recent operations, crime trends, pending cases and the performance of various police units.
Officers were directed to strengthen surveillance, enhance coordination, improve response time and intensify action against criminals and anti-social elements.
The SSP also stressed community policing, public outreach and proactive steps to ensure safety across the district. All units were instructed to maintain high vigilance and work in a streamlined manner to uphold peace and security in Udhampur.
