CHANDIGARH, Nov 20 : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today assured full support and cooperation to Japanese company GNJ as the firm explores new investment opportunities across the state. The assurance was given during a meeting with the company’s leadership, where discussions focused on Punjab’s expanding industrial ecosystem and the government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investment.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s favourable business climate, improved infrastructure, and ongoing reforms aimed at reducing regulatory hurdles. He noted that Punjab has emerged as a preferred destination for global companies seeking manufacturing, logistics, and technology-based operations, and emphasized the government’s proactive approach in addressing investor needs.

GNJ representatives briefed the Chief Minister about the company’s interest in setting up operations in Punjab and outlined potential areas of collaboration in advanced manufacturing, automation, and precision engineering. The delegation expressed confidence in the state’s policy environment and praised the government’s transparent and investor-friendly processes.

Mann assured the delegation that the state government would extend all necessary assistance to ensure a smooth transition from planning to execution. He stated that dedicated support mechanisms, including single-window clearance and sector-specific facilitation teams, are in place to help investors establish and expand their operations without delays.
