According to police officials, teams have been deployed in all major districts to conduct coordinated checks at markets, warehouses, transport hubs, and commercial establishments dealing with regulated or sensitive goods. The inspections aim to verify documentation, ensure proper storage practices, and identify any irregularities that may require corrective action.
Officers said the exercise is preventive in nature and is intended to promote responsible adherence to rules rather than inconvenience law-abiding citizens or businesses. They added that special focus is being placed on materials that have been flagged in the past for potential misuse.
