Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while attending a religious ceremony at Sri Anandpur Sahib to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, said the Guru’s teachings inspire all to follow the path of mutual respect, brotherhood, and tolerance.

He emphasized that Guru Tegh Bahadur made the ultimate sacrifice to uphold faith, humanity, and truth, laying down his life not only for Sikhism but also for the protection of the rights of every religion and sect. Sukhu added that the Guru’s courage to stand firmly against tyranny continues to guide society even today.

The Chief Minister asserted that Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life serves as a beacon for strengthening the ideals of unity in diversity and democracy. At a time when peace, harmony, and social justice are most needed, his legacy remains deeply relevant.
