Rajouri, Nov 24, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, carried out surprise inspections across multiple government offices today to assess staff attendance, service delivery, and overall office functioning.
During a visit to the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunderbani, four employees were found absent without authorization. The DC instructed the concerned officials to provide immediate explanations and directed the controlling officer to initiate appropriate action in accordance with rules.
At the Block Development Office (BDO) Siot, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed attendance registers, ongoing projects, and public service mechanisms to ensure accountability and efficiency.
Later inspections at Lamberi revealed eight employees absent from duty. The DC stressed that negligence in public-facing departments would not be tolerated and ordered strict disciplinary measures.
Reaffirming the district administration’s commitment to efficient governance, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all officers to maintain regular attendance, ensure timely delivery of public services, and uphold high standards of accountability. He also stated that surprise inspections will continue to monitor the effective implementation of government schemes and responsive administration at all levels.
