Jammu, Nov 24: The Border Security Force (BSF) and local police conducted aggressive patrolling across vulnerable areas to strengthen security and maintain heightened vigilance along the border belt. The joint operation aimed at deterring suspicious movement and preventing any attempts at infiltration or cross-border smuggling.
Officials said the patrolling teams covered sensitive stretches, including riverine points, forested zones and routes frequently exploited by anti-national elements. Personnel carried out close monitoring of terrain features, checked vehicles and engaged with residents to gather ground-level intelligence.
The coordinated effort was part of the ongoing security strategy to ensure round-the-clock surveillance in frontier regions. Authorities said such intensified patrolling will continue in the coming days to maintain peace and ensure the safety of border communities.
The BSF and police have urged locals to remain vigilant and promptly share information about any unusual activity, assuring them of immediate assistance and protection.
