Goa, Nov 25: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu & Kashmir, showcased the J&K Film Policy at the ongoing India International Film Festival (IIFI) in Goa. The initiative aims to promote the region as a vibrant hub for film production and attract filmmakers and investors.
DIPR representatives highlighted the incentives, facilities, and opportunities available under the J&K Film Policy to encourage both national and international filmmakers to explore the region. The presentation included details on production support, logistical assistance, and the cultural richness of Jammu & Kashmir as a preferred filming destination.
The move is part of a broader strategy to boost the local film industry, generate employment, and promote tourism through cinema. DIPR’s participation at IIFI also provided a platform for networking with industry stakeholders and showcasing J&K’s scenic locales to a global audience.
