Udhampur, Nov 26: Authorities have seized property worth Rs 70 lakh belonging to a drug peddler under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The action was taken as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
The seized assets include immovable properties and other valuables linked to the accused, whose identity and further details are being investigated. Officials stated that such measures are crucial to dismantle criminal networks and prevent the misuse of illegal substances.
The police emphasized their commitment to enforcing the NDPS Act rigorously and urged citizens to report suspicious activities to aid in controlling drug-related crimes.
