New Delhi, December 1 — National Conference leaders Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Gurvinder Singh Oberoi, and Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan took oath as Members of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha today.
The oath was administered by Vice President of India C P Radhakrishnan, who is also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. The ceremony took place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior leaders.
Officials said the swearing-in marks the formal induction of the three leaders into the Upper House, strengthening the representation of the National Conference in Parliament. The leaders pledged to uphold the Constitution and work towards the welfare of the people.
The event was witnessed by parliamentarians and dignitaries, underscoring the significance of the occasion for Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.
