Doda, December 5, 2025: In a firm display of accountability, Doda Police have registered an FIR against one of their own officials for alleged involvement in a criminal act.
On December 3, 2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post DH Doda by Anzar Majid Malik, who accused Ghulam Ali, son of Mohd Maqbool Dar, resident of Sadeeqabad Doda, of wrongfully restraining and assaulting him.
Acting swiftly, Police Station Doda registered FIR No. 272/2025 under relevant sections of law and initiated investigation. During the probe, the accused was identified as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Police Department.
Reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct within the force, Doda Police have set the legal process in motion. Further investigation in the case is currently underway.
