The Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday conducted an extensive field visit to the Mughal Road and adjoining Sedow area to review the ground situation and assess ongoing works, officials said.
During the visit, the DC inspected road conditions, drainage systems and other civic facilities, while interacting with officials on site to take stock of progress and identify bottlenecks. Special focus was laid on ensuring the smooth movement of traffic and addressing issues faced by commuters and local residents.
The Deputy Commissioner also met people from nearby villages, patiently listening to their concerns related to road connectivity, safety and basic amenities. He assured them that genuine issues would be taken up on priority and resolved in a time-bound manner.
Officials from concerned departments were directed to maintain close coordination, ensure quality execution of works and take preventive measures to avoid inconvenience, particularly during adverse weather conditions.
The DC emphasized that regular field inspections are essential to ensure effective implementation of development works and said the administration remains committed to improving infrastructure and public services in the area.
