DC Calls for Responsible Work After Sanitation Check in Rajouri

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, on Tuesday undertook an early morning inspection of Rajouri town to assess the sanitation and cleanliness scenario across key areas.

During the visit, the DC reviewed the condition of streets, drains and public spaces, and interacted with sanitation staff and concerned officials on the spot. He stressed the need for regular cleaning, proper waste disposal and timely removal of garbage to maintain hygiene in the town.

Abhishek Sharma urged officials to work with sincerity and a sense of responsibility, saying cleanliness is directly linked to public health and civic well-being. He directed departments to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and ensure that sanitation efforts are sustained on a daily basis.

The Deputy Commissioner also instructed field staff to remain alert and responsive, especially during early hours, and to promptly address issues flagged by residents. He said the administration is committed to improving cleanliness standards and ensuring a healthy living environment for the people of Rajouri.
