Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), on the directions of the Commissioner JMC and under the supervision of the Joint Commissioner (R&E) and Deputy Commissioner (North/South), conducted a major enforcement drive across various parts of Jammu city.
During the drive, multiple illegal structures raised in violation of municipal norms were demolished, while several commercial units found operating without requisite permissions were sealed. The action was taken to ensure strict adherence to building regulations and municipal laws.
The enforcement teams carried out the operation in a coordinated manner, targeting encroachments and unauthorized constructions that were causing inconvenience to the public and affecting planned urban development.
JMC officials reiterated that such drives will continue in the future and appealed to citizens to comply with municipal rules and regulations. The Corporation emphasized its commitment to maintaining orderly development and ensuring civic discipline across the city.<
