Rajouri, December 19: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today presided over a grievances redressal camp at Dak Bungalow as part of the ongoing ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign under Good Governance Week.
Residents from all sections of society attended the event to learn about government initiatives and to present their individual and collective demands. Stalls were set up by various line departments to facilitate on-the-spot delivery of public services and resolution of grievances.
The DC highlighted that the campaign aims to bring governance closer to the grassroots, ensure time-bound redressal of public grievances, and raise awareness about government schemes and services. Several grievances were resolved on the spot, while citizens were also informed about various welfare initiatives.
Similar camps were organized at Kalakote, Nowshera, Sunderbani, Kotranka, and Khawas, drawing active participation from local communities.
It was informed that the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign will continue until December 25, with grievances redressal and service delivery camps being conducted at multiple locations across the district to ensure citizen-centric governance and last-mile service delivery.
