Two persons were injured on Sunday after a Tempo Traveller met with an accident at Narian on the Jammu–Poonch National Highway.
According to officials, the vehicle was travelling along the highway when the driver reportedly lost control under unknown circumstances, causing the Tempo Traveller to veer off the road and overturn.
Local residents and passersby rushed to the spot immediately and helped in rescuing the injured passengers from the vehicle.
The injured were promptly shifted to the nearest medical facility for treatment, where their condition was stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
