REASI: A total of 384 immunisation booths have been established across Reasi district as part of the ongoing vaccination campaign aimed at ensuring complete coverage of children in the target age group.
Officials said the booths have been set up at strategic locations, including health institutions, schools and community centres, to facilitate easy access for parents and guardians. In addition to fixed booths, mobile vaccination teams have also been deployed to reach children in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
The health department, in coordination with the district administration, has mobilised healthcare workers, supervisors and volunteers to ensure the smooth conduct of the campaign. Special emphasis is being laid on awareness generation so that parents are informed about the importance of timely immunisation.
Authorities said the arrangements are being closely monitored to ensure that no eligible child is left out. Parents and guardians have been urged to cooperate with vaccination teams and make full use of the immunisation facilities available across the district.
The district administration reiterated its commitment to strengthening public health services and ensuring the success of the immunisation drive in Reasi.
