JAMMU: Career Counselling and placement cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar, in collaboration with directorate, Placement cell, Cluster University of Jammu organised a motivational lecture by the renowned motivational speaker, an exuberant achiever and actor Arfeen Khan, here on the College Campus.
The event started with the national anthem and was followed by lighting of the traditional lamp.
Prof Bechan Lal, Vice Chancellor Cluster University of Jammu was the chief guest and Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, registrar was the guest of honour.
Dr. D. S. Manhas, Dean, Directorate Placement Cell formally welcomed the guests.
Radhika Cheema, a highly successful Women entrepreneur and founder of KHJ health care foundation, shared her engaging real life odyssey of success and ignited a spark in the audience.
Arfeen Khan, resource person for the event is an internationally recognized expert in personal development, leadership and motivation.
In the lecture, he shared valuable insights and strategies to ignite the spark of greatness within each attendee.
Through compelling storytelling, practical examples and interactive sessions, students learnt how to overcome obstacles and embrace challenges with resilience and determination.
He also told the audience how to cultivate a positive mindset and unleash the potential and strength in them.
Puneet Pradhan, Director and advisor KIIT University, in his address stressed that the students should set and achieve ambitious goals with strategic planning and focused action.
Dr. Naveen Anand, Dean Academic Affairs and Dr. Satinder Kour, Dean Research Studies were also present on the occasion.
Prof Minu Mahajan, Principal of the College congratulated the organising committee for hosting such a wonderful and impactful event. Around 650 students along with college faculty members attended the program.
The event was organised under the guidance of Prof. Rajni Kumari, Convener Career Counselling and placement cell and the committee members. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof. Sugandha Mahajan and vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Neelam Thapa.
