New Delhi : Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kavinder Gupta on Friday said that the BJP manifesto for Jammu and Kashmir should be called ‘Sankalp Patra’ instead of the manifesto as it is in the interest of the nation.
Speaking to Media Gupta said, “We call it the Sankalp Patra instead of the manifesto, as it is in the interest of the nation, state, and society. It has been the history of the BJP to do what we have said and do what we have not said.”
He further said that people will support the party considering the development that the BJP has made in Jammu and Kashmir.
“People will support us seeing the development that we have done here,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir chief Ravindra Raina on Friday hailed the party’s manifesto and termed it ‘people’s manifesto’.
Promising all help to the people of the state, Raina said that the party will solve everyone’s problems, adding that the BJP will work with the mission of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishiwas’.
“BJP’s manifesto is people’s manifesto. Daily wagers, home guards, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers; BJP will solve everyone’s problems. Youth, government employees; BJP will solve their problems too because BJP will work with the mission of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishiwas’,” Ravindra Raina said.
Raina exuded confidence in the party’s victory in the upcoming assembly elections, saying that the BJP will record a ‘tremendous victory’.
“PM Modi and Union HM Amit Shah have worked for J-K in a mission mode. While releasing the manifesto, the Home Minister said that we will strengthen the peace and prosperity in J-K. As the HM has said, we will have tremendous victory here and the BJP will form the government,” Ravinder Raina said.
