Awareness Lecture Conducted By Indian Army On Tobacco Consumption At Samote Rajouri

Rajouri : The Indian Army organized an impactful awareness lecture on the devastating effects of tobacco consumption at Government Higher Secondary School, Samote. The event aimed to educate students about the severe health risks associated with tobacco use. The lecture covered critical topics, including health risks, addiction, respiratory diseases, and the increased likelihood of cancer. Interactive discussions encouraged students to ask questions and share thoughts, fostering a lively and informative environment. A total of 65 students (34 boys and 31 girls) and 4 teachers attended the awareness program.

The initiative empowers young individuals to make informed choices about their health and emphasizes the importance of a tobacco-free lifestyle.
