Doda :The Indian Army has always stood at the forefront to help the people of Jammu and Kashmir ever since Independence and has assisted in the successful execution of various government welfare schemes.

Continuing with the same spirit, the Indian Army provided a Water Storage and Supply System at Sirthal Mata Mandir.

The locals and the devotees of the Mata Mandir will benefit from this infrastructure initiative, aimed at improving access to clean water. This water supply system will address the long-standing challenges of water scarcity in the village and Mandir premises, ensuring a consistent and hygienic supply of water for temple activities, pilgrims, and locals.

The project is being implemented under the Sadbhavana initiative with the support. The system includes five 1000-liter water storage tanks, one 3.5 KVA Generator Set, and a water pump designed to meet the needs of the pilgrims visiting the Mandir. Mr. Pawan, Sarpanch of Sirthal Village, said, “Such an infrastructure initiative by the Indian Army will be a milestone in meeting the water needs at Sirthal Mata Mandir and represents dedication to improving infrastructure.” This project will go a long way in winning the hearts and minds of the people and also generate trust between the Army and the locals.
