The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced that it will soon introduce an online system designed to enable real-time monitoring of all ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects. The new digital platform aims to streamline project oversight, enhance transparency, and ensure timely execution across airports nationwide.
Officials said the system will integrate project data, progress reports, financial updates, contractor inputs, and on-ground status through a unified dashboard accessible to authorised personnel. This will allow senior management to track milestones, identify bottlenecks, and take prompt corrective measures whenever required.
The initiative is expected to significantly reduce delays often caused by manual reporting, lack of coordination, and limited field visibility. AAI believes the platform will improve accountability among contractors and project teams while enabling more accurate planning and resource allocation.
The Authority added that training sessions will be conducted for regional offices and project units to ensure smooth adoption of the new system. The move aligns with AAI’s broader push toward digital transformation and modernisation of airport infrastructure management.
Once fully implemented, the online monitoring system is anticipated to improve efficiency, accelerate project delivery, and support the development of world-class airport facilities across the country.
