Bollywood actress Kajol celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, with warm wishes pouring in from friends, family, and fans. Among them was a special post from her husband, actor Ajay Devgn.
Known for his dry humour, the ‘Singham’ star shared a cheeky birthday note on Instagram, writing:
“Could say a lot, but you would still roll your eyes. So… happy birthday, favourite.”
Ajay paired the message with two black-and-white photos of Kajol — one from her early days, showing her youthful charm, and another recent picture of her in an elegant ethnic outfit.
Earlier in the day, their daughter Nysa also took to social media to share a sweet post with a photo captioned, “My mama’s birthday.”
Wishes from industry friends followed. Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Happy birthday dearest Kajol… always a laugh riot with you… lots of love always.”
Rakul Preet Singh added, “Happy Birthday, Kajol Ma’am! May the year ahead unfold gently and bring what you seek.”
Genelia Deshmukh, who shares her birthday with Kajol, also sent her love and best wishes.
On the professional front, Kajol recently starred in Vishal Furia’s fantasy drama Maa, alongside Rohit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta. Her latest release, Sarzameen, premiered on July 25 on JioHotstar and featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Directed by Kayoze Irani, the film marked another notable appearance for the actress.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn’s latest film Son of Sardaar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, recently hit theatres. Featuring a star-studded cast including Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Chunky Panday, and Deepak Dobriyal, the film opened to a lukewarm response from audiences.
