Mumbai: Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated Diwali with close friends and family, sharing heartwarming moments from their festive evening. Alia took to Instagram to post glimpses of their “Dilwali Diwali” celebration, featuring adorable photos of Ranbir, their daughter Raha, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.
In the pictures, Alia and Ranbir posed together — Ranbir looked elegant in a white kurta, while Alia stunned in a pink kurti paired with a light green pleated skirt. Another photo captured the Bhatt sisters smiling for the camera, while a separate frame showed Alia, Shaheen, and Ayan enjoying the festivities.
One of the most loved photos showed little Raha painting diyas, adding a sweet, personal touch to the celebration. Alia also shared a cheerful video with Shaheen, perfectly capturing their sibling bond.
Sharing the post, Alia wrote, “Dilwali Diwali… Happy Diwali to you and yours.”
Earlier, Neetu Kapoor hosted a cozy pre-Diwali bash at her Mumbai home, turning it into a glamorous family affair. The gathering was attended by several members of the Kapoor family, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Randhir Kapoor, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, among others.
Neetu dazzled in a dark blue ethnic outfit, while Alia opted for a golden saree adorned with statement jewellery. Kareena and Karisma also embraced festive elegance in their traditional ensembles.
The evening saw the entire Kapoor clan — including Aadar Jain, Alekha Advani, Armaan Jain, Anissa Malhotra, and Kareena and Saif’s sons Taimur and Jehangir — come together for what Anissa fondly described on Instagram as a “fam-jam” celebration.
On the professional front, Alia is currently shooting for her upcoming film Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The movie, part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, is slated for release on December 25.
