Amitabh Bachchan shares festive family photo, extends Diwali wishes
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartwarming family photograph featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Aaradhya Bachchan, along with other family members, to wish fans a joyous Diwali.
Taking to Instagram, Big B posted the cheerful picture that also included his daughter Shweta Bachchan, grandchildren Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda, and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda.
He captioned the post simply yet warmly: “Happy 😊 + Diwali 🪔 = Happy Diwali.”
The post comes amid ongoing rumours of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s alleged separation, which surface periodically. However, the couple continues to make public appearances together. Speculation intensified after they arrived separately at a recent city event.
Earlier this month, Amitabh celebrated his 83rd birthday, with Aishwarya extending heartfelt wishes on behalf of her daughter Aaradhya. She shared a touching photo of the veteran actor with Aaradhya, writing, “Happy Birthday dearest Pa-Dadajiii. Love and God bless always.”
On the work front, Amitabh will lend his voice as the narrator for the opening sequence of 120 Bahadur, starring Farhan Akhtar. The film, inspired by the true events of the 1962 India-China war, has been shot across the scenic landscapes of Ladakh.
The announcement was made during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, where Farhan and his father, legendary writer Javed Akhtar, appeared as guests. During the episode, Farhan spoke about the Battle of Rezang La and requested Amitabh to narrate the film’s opening sequence.
120 Bahadur features Farhan as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who, along with his soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, bravely fought against overwhelming Chinese forces.
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is slated for theatrical release on November 21, 2025.
