Rajouri: In a proactive effort to strengthen bonds with the local population and provide essential support, Peda Army Camp organized a community interaction and assistance program in the upper reaches, where residents have migrated to the dhoks with the onset of summer. This initiative aimed to connect with the people in remote areas and address their immediate needs, particularly in the sphere of healthcare.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals and served as a platform to build trust and enhance mutual understanding. A key highlight of the program was the provision of medical assistance, a much-needed service in these inaccessible regions. Over 30 individuals benefited from basic health check-ups, necessary treatments, and the distribution of essential medicines by medical personnel.

This outreach effort not only demonstrated the commitment of Indian Army to the welfare of the local communities but also reinforced the importance of security forces as partners in development and well-being. The locals expressed deep gratitude for the timely support and assured continued cooperation. Such initiatives play a crucial role in fostering goodwill, addressing grassroots concerns, and ensuring a unified approach to community resilience.
