Jammu: APS MIRAN SAHIB is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of its Scouts and Guides, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and community spirit. The school recently attended a special ceremony to honor students who have reached new milestones in their Scouting and Guiding journey.
3 Scouts namely Aditya Kumar , Manpreet Singh and Vansh Kumar and 3 Guides namely Mahi Manhas, Saniya Rajput and Janvi were awarded Rajya Puraskar award for their participation in community service, adventure activities, leadership skills by honorable Lt Governor Manoj Sinha held at convention Hall. These students exemplified the core values of the Scouts and Guides, including teamwork, responsibility, and a commitment to helping others. These children were also awarded with badges of honour and certificates. Mrs Sayar Rajawat played a vital role in navigating the skills of the children .
The event was attended by Mr Satish Sharma, Minister for Youth Services and Sports; Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor; Mr Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu , Wg. Cdr MM Joshi, National Commissioner, Bharat Scouts & Guides; Mr Rajinder Singh Tara, Director General, Youth Services and Sports; Administrators, Guide Captains, Instructors, Principals, teachers & students from various schools were present and they all expressed their admiration for the hard work and perseverance shown by the students. Mrs Ritu Sharma, the Principal along with teachers Mr Suresh Kumar, Scout master and Ms Upneet Kour, Guide teacher accompanied the students to the event.
