Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor has received widespread praise for his portrayal of the menacing antagonist Danger Lanka in Rohit Shetty’s 2024 blockbuster Singham Again.
As the film marks its first anniversary, the actor took to Instagram to share a video montage featuring his scenes from the high-octane action drama.
Reflecting on the experience, Arjun wrote, “Who knew being Danger could bring so much love? It’s been a year since I became Danger Lanka — a villain that gave me the chance to break moulds, surprise people, and have a crazy-good time playing it.”
Expressing gratitude towards the director and his team, he added, “Thank you @itsrohitshetty Sir for the trust, and to the entire cast & crew for giving me one of the most memorable experiences of my career.”
The actor also extended his heartfelt thanks to fans for their overwhelming response. “Special thanks to the audience for all the love & appreciation… it always reminds me of the joy & passion of doing what I love. Here’s to celebrating one year of Singham Again and Danger Lanka!” he concluded.
Jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films, Singham Again featured an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff.
The fifth installment in Shetty’s Cop Universe boasted music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Girish Kant and Raza Hussain Mehta, and editing by Bunty Nagi.
Released on November 1, 2024, Singham Again opened to mixed reviews from critics.
