Srinagar: Security forces on Sunday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a forest area in Madhama, Kupwara district of north Kashmir, officials said.
According to sources, acting on specific intelligence, a joint team of security forces launched a search operation in the Madhama area, during which the recovery was made.
A case has been registered at the concerned police station under relevant sections, and further investigation is in progress, they added.
