Poonch/Jammu: Army and police personnel on Friday conducted a joint operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, leading to the recovery of arms and explosives.
Officials said the operation in the Mendhar nallah area yielded 20 grenades, an AK-series rifle, four magazines and other war-like material.
“Alert White Knight Corps troops, during an intelligence-based joint search with police, recovered one AK-series weapon, four magazines, 20 hand grenades and additional stores in the Poonch sector,” the White Knight Corps posted on X.
