Army Public School Damana hosted its much-anticipated Alumni Meet, titled ‘Rendezvous with Our Alumni’, on 18 August 2025 in the school’s AV Room. The event brought together former students from various batches for a day brimming with nostalgia, pride, and camaraderie.
The occasion was graced by Pushpinder Kaur, Principal; Mrs. Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal; Mrs. Anurita Koul, Head Mistress, along with faculty members and esteemed representatives of the alma mater, whose encouragement added depth and warmth to the celebration.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing the eternal pursuit of knowledge. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome address by Ms. Ekta Gupta, PGT English, and a melodious welcome song by Mr. Sunny Kumar, TGT Music, setting a vibrant and inviting tone. A specially curated video montage of photographs and clips from the past transported alumni back in time, evoking cherished memories of their school days.
Alumni shared their experiences and reflections, reminiscing fondly and acknowledging the school’s pivotal role in shaping their lives. A fun-filled activity session sparked laughter, joy, and lively interactions. The Principal presented mementos and tokens of appreciation, honoring the contributions of alumni and expressing heartfelt gratitude.
In her address, the Principal expressed immense pride in the alumni’s achievements, emphasizing how they have carried forward the school’s values in their personal and professional lives. She encouraged them to continue serving as role models for current students and to maintain a strong connection with their alma mater.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Arti Gupta, Senior Coordinator. Alumni also signed the Alumni Register and took a campus tour, revisiting treasured memories while appreciating the school’s new developments.
The heartwarming Alumni Meet successfully bridged the school’s glorious past with its vibrant present, leaving attendees with lasting memories and a renewed sense of connection to Army Public School Damana.
