ARTO Rajouri Leads Targeted Traffic Compliance Drive in Thanamandi

Rajouri, November 27: The team of the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Rajouri carried out a comprehensive road checking drive in Thanamandi to strengthen road safety and ensure compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules.

During the operation, a total of 90 vehicles were inspected. The enforcement teams issued 12 e-challans, generating an expected revenue of ₹46,000. In addition, one driving licence was recommended for suspension following serious violations.

ARTO officials stated that the drive was aimed at curbing traffic violations and promoting responsible driving practices. They emphasized that strict action will continue against violators to maintain discipline on the roads and safeguard commuters.

The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to road safety and its determination to reduce accidents by enforcing transport regulations across Rajouri district.
