Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Dazzle Fans with Electrifying Dance on ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ in Delhi

New Delhi: Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna set the stage ablaze with their mesmerizing dance performance on the song ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ from their upcoming film ‘Thamma’. The duo looked stunning—Ayushmann in an all-black ensemble and Rashmika in a graceful traditional outfit—captivating the audience with their chemistry and energy.

As a special treat, the makers surprised fans by screening a 20-minute preview of the film during the event.

Adding to the excitement, Ayushmann showcased his musical side with a soulful live performance of the romantic track ‘Rahein Na Rahein Hum’ alongside singer Soumyadeep Sarkar. The song, composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, left the audience spellbound.

The event was part of the film’s Delhi promotions, attended by the film’s producer Dinesh Vijan, director Aditya Sarpotdar, and co-stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Earlier in the day, Ayushmann and Rashmika enjoyed Delhi’s local delicacies, including Rajma Chawal and Chole Bhature.

Speaking to the media, Ayushmann opened up about the challenges of portraying his dual roles in the film—a journalist and a vampire named ‘Betaal’.

“We all are journalists in some way; I studied journalism after college. But preparing for Betaal was difficult because I’ve never done so much action before,” he said. “In one scene, I’m falling off a mountain, in another, a bear throws me around—I’ve taken more hits in this film than in my entire school and college days!”

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ‘Thamma’ features an ensemble cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The film’s recently released trailer offers a thrilling glimpse into a vampire love story between Ayushmann and Rashmika. It opens with Nawazuddin as ‘Thamma’, a powerful figure intent on creating an army of vampires to rule humanity. After being captured and sealed in a cave for 1,000 years, his reawakening sets off a chain of supernatural events, transforming Ayushmann’s character into a vampire.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under the banner of Maddock Films, ‘Thamma’ is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, and is set to release this Diwali 2025.
