Mumbai: The latest episode of Bigg Boss Season 19 saw a fiery clash between contestants Abhishek Bajaj and Kunickaa Sadanand following the announcement of this week’s nominations.
Kunickaa, who refused to perform household duties assigned by Captain Mridul Tiwari, expressed her displeasure over what she felt was an unfair decision. She was particularly upset that Mridul chose to save Abhishek Bajaj and Ashnoor Kaur — contestants who had repeatedly flouted house rules — a move that ultimately led to her and others being nominated.
The situation escalated when Abhishek intervened and age-shamed Kunickaa during the argument. He mockingly sang the popular song “Dadi Amma, Dadi Amma, Maan Jao” and sarcastically asked her to leave the house. His remarks sparked outrage among viewers, who condemned the comments as disrespectful and uncalled for.
Despite attempts by his close friends and co-contestants, Gaurav Khanna and Pranit More, to calm him down, Abhishek refused to back off and even argued with Pranit, who was only trying to make him see reason.
Kunickaa, who had previously supported Abhishek and Ashnoor on several occasions, was deeply hurt after discovering that Abhishek had been speaking ill of her behind her back. Consequently, she decided to withdraw her support from both contestants.
For those who missed it, in a recent episode, Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek Bajaj were reprimanded by Bigg Boss for breaking one of the most important house rules — wearing their microphones at all times. The duo was seen inside the swimming pool without their mics, whispering to each other in an apparent attempt to keep their conversation private.
Even after repeated warnings from Bigg Boss, the two continued their secret chat and cheekily claimed that their conversation was already over, leaving Bigg Boss visibly furious. Their dismissive attitude and defiance were later called out as a blatant disregard for the show’s rules.
