Mumbai: The drama inside the Bigg Boss 19 house has reached new heights, with a fiery clash between music composer Amaal Mallik and contestant Farrhana Bhatt following a tense captaincy task that left the house deeply divided.

In a recently released promo, Bigg Boss introduced an emotional twist — contestants had to choose between delivering a heartfelt letter from a family member to its rightful owner and giving up their chance at captaincy, or tearing the letter and staying in the race.

Farrhana’s shocking decision to rip up Neelam Giri’s letter right in front of her left Neelam in tears and other housemates calling the act “cruel” and “heartless.”

Tensions flared when Amaal Mallik confronted Farrhana over her actions. Visibly furious, he lashed out, saying, “Zeher ugalke khana khane ka man kar raha hai” (I feel like spitting venom before eating). Farrhana responded with a smile, which only fueled his anger further.

When Amaal demanded she show some “shame,” Farrhana coolly replied, “Later.” On being pressed for a time, she shot back, “Jab mujhe lagega” (When I feel like it).

The argument quickly escalated as Amaal, losing his temper, grabbed Farrhana’s plate and hurled it away, shouting, “Khaake dikha!” (Try eating now!). Fellow contestants, including Kunickaa Sadanand, rushed in to diffuse the situation.

The explosive altercation has since gone viral, with social media users divided — some calling Amaal’s anger “justified,” while others criticized him for “crossing the line.”

Meanwhile, outside the controversy, the season continues to captivate fans. Actor Zeishan Quadri of Gangs of Wasseypur fame was recently evicted during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

This year’s theme, “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” features several well-known contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Kunickaa Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Baseer Ali, Malti Chahar, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul, and Shehbaz Badesha.

Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHotstar at 9 p.m., ahead of its television broadcast on Colors TV at 10:30 p.m.
