JAMMU: A delegation of Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Akademy, J&K called on LG Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, today.
The delegation led by Bharat Bhushan, Chairman, District Development Council Jammu, briefed the LG Manoj Sinha on the activities undertaken by the organization in the service of the society. They also requested the LG Manoj Sinha for installation of the statue of Babu Parmanand, former Governor of Haryana and founder President of the Akademy.
The LG Manoj Sinha assured the members of the delegation of appropriate action on the issues put forth by them during the interaction.
